This is my virtual scrapbook of reblogs and other goodies. Enjoy!

tumblarity.

alycefrances:

i’m trying to use this newfangled Tumblarity activity thing.
as of right now i don’t enjoy it one bit.
(excepting, of course, the number of times one reblogs you.)
i accidently set my country to China by mistake and i’m not at all sure how to fix it.
the help option is not assisting at all.
i might as well ask the paper clip man of Microsoft Word.
he’d help me more than Tumblr help at this point.
(& that’s not saying a lot.)

fml.

ps. happy birthday, leah. :)

Oh, darn. I was hoping that you were from China. Oh well. Ummm, you can go to “Customize” and then go to “Advanced” and scroll all the way down to the bottom and you will see “Location” and enter your new location. =] May 14, 2009 at 23:29

Klaxons- Golden Scans
You spelled the song title wrong. It’s “Golden Skans” =] They’re amazing live. What a coincidence! Today, I’m actually wearing a shirt my friend designed for them. May 1, 2009 at 16:20

The E-Cyclorama is a painting, but a painting that you’re immersed in, that you view from within. Painted on the inside of a huge cylinder, using one hundred and nine separate colours on more than seven hundred square feet of canvas, the E-cyclorama surrounds its audience, filling the field of vision with a rainbow of shifting colour. The colour moves through the spectrum, but the transitions are rendered in so subtle a way, that you can never be sure where one colour ends and the next begins. The effect is dynamic, an experience almost more like music than painting, more like surround-sound painting. - (via the Daily Icon)

I saw this or something similar at the SF MoMa last year. =]

When you stare at me and I tell you to stop, what I really meant was, please don’t stop looking at me the way you do. Ever.
Esther

Hi, Alissa (wfflkngbtch). You do realize that you just stole that quote from Esther (ignoranceisbliss) and didn’t give her credit. I’m not trying to be the credit cop or anything, but seeing as that you gave credit to other people’s quotes, you should give her credit as well, at least edit your quote post and put her name on it as the source. Thanks! =]

Needless to say, Miley Cyrus has ruined it for me.

I can’t believe she just said she didn’t know who designed the dress and now it’s her favorite designer. -___- I didn’t realize how annoying her voice is. It feels like she has something in her mouth while she’s talking. Bahhhh!!

Heart-shaped island highlighted by Google Earth becomes hit with lovers

“
The 130,000 square yard islet of Galesnjak came to prominence after its unusual shape was highlighted on Google Earth.

Even the owner of the uninhabited island - now known as Lovers’ Island - didn’t realise how perfectly heart-shaped the island off the Croatian coast was until he was swamped with requests from couples to stay there.

It seems many lovers from around the world consider it the ideal spot for a romantic Valentine’s Day break.
“

I think this was in the Korean drama, Boys Over Flowers, cuz one of the scenes they fly over with a helicopter over an island that’s heartshaped and then, the main lead actor says something cheesy… [insert cheesy love line here]

Photojojo Project 365: How to take a photo a day and see your life in a whole new way.

allthiscanbeyours:

So I’ve decided to do this, I think everyone should…it’s pretty cool. Just don’t make an annoying youtube video out of it.
It looks like everyone seems to be doing this now. Haha, nice! My photoblog is here. January 1, 2009 at 18:15

People who don’t show their e-mails or have a comments function on Tumblr, when you want to thank them for following you on Tumblr. Poop!

tentwentythirtyforty:

I dont know how to install a comments  function !!….my email is there, but have i been thanked?

well , NO! <mad>

theres a ‘whatannoysus’ for you :D….

Awwww, it’s okay. No one thanks me either but I like to thank people when they follow me because I didn’t know people actually liked the stuff I write. =] To add comments, you need to make a disqus account and then, it should tell you where to place the code in your customize section in tumblr. =] December 2, 2008 at 03:02
